This innovative program is open to students in grades 3-5 and will introduce STEM minded students to the world of robotics using the new Lego Spike Prime robot and programming. Students will enjoy assembling their robots by following a detailed schema, programming their robots, and designing attachments to complete missions and tasks. Additionally, students will use a variety of 21st century math skills to adjust the movement and maneuverability of their design. La Jolla Elementary Seminar teacher, Heather Polen, will work with students on carefully chosen topics and activities that will be taught with hands-on exploration, STEM learning and an inquiry-based, team building approach.
